No, the judo club stops over the summer, and Fran hates that.

Thankfully, they usually have a nice day of games and competitions just before the summer holidays.

No exams until october, I think, so no orange belt for Fran yet.

Thanks, Liz. Schools aren't all that good in my country either, which is one of our reasons for home educating our daughters.

We are passionate about languages and arts (which I'm sure won't surprise you), so I've always tried to provide an environment that made it possible for my girls to develop their linguistic and artistic abilities to the fullest.

Yes, they're looking into the education laws again, but personally, I don't think they'll actually go ahead and change them.

And if they do decide to outlaw HS-ing altogether, I'll just hop over the border into Belgium with my younger sister who's also HS-ing one of her girls.

Wow, so they're looking at the education laws again! I still have a copy of them somewhere from the time we studied them to request our exemption! We had excellent help in formulating our letter, from a homeschooling family, but it was very stressful.

I hope you'll blog about this issue as it progresses!

I'm OK, but I've got plantar fasciitis, so I can't go walking anymore, which is a real bummer.

But I do take ju-jitsu classes once a week - even though my doctor doesn't quite agree with that either.

We're still completely chuffed about Lizzy's admission to the Institute of Arts. :-)
